Ohio State Football: Dwayne Haskins gets his first quality NFL Start
Ezekiel Elliot | 16 carries, 45 yards, TD, 2 receptions, 28 yards, TD
Ezekiel Elliott had a terrible outing against the Vikings in Week 10 as he was virtually ineffective against the stout Minnesota run defense. Against the Lions, he was stopped for much of the game but was still able to get into the endzone twice.
Zeke scored by way of rushing and receiving in this one, as he continues to prove his versatility in all phases of the game. If not for the two touchdowns, he would have had a game very similar to that of the Vikings, but his elusiveness when it mattered ruled the day in the end and led the Cowboys to a huge victory.
Unfortunately, Elliott probably won’t retain his rushing title he won last season with the monster years from the likes of Christian McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook. But he is still having a good year nonetheless. 833 yards on 194 carries as well as eight total touchdowns on the year is definitely nothing to scoff at.
While he wasn’t able to break 100 rushing yards in his past two games combined, he has still been producing and will continue to produce as the Cowboys make a run at the playoffs in the final part of the season.
