Let’s make no bones about it, Penn State is and will be the most talented team Ohio State will face during the regular season. Even coach Day made a point in saying as much during his Tuesday presser, via Letterman’s Row:

"“I think our team knows what’s at stake, we have talked about that,” Day said. “But now it’s time to just focus on Penn State. This is a talent-equated game. We all know we have been in some games that we have had more talent than some of the other teams we have played. This is a team that talent equates."

While this is the most talented team the Buckeyes will meet I disagree with Ryan Day in saying that the talent is equated. Looking at the rosters top to bottom, Ohio State has better players at just about every position.

So if I think the overall talent is better, the coaching and quarterback play is better, then this should be a Buckeye victory. Penn State will get some scores, kick some field goals but in the end Ohio State’s offense is too much to keep down for an entire game. Buckeyes win 34-19.
