It would be much easier to predict the first half score in this game, it’s going to be a blowout. Rutgers is the worst team in the Big Ten and Ohio State is the best in the country.

The Scarlet Knights won’t be able to run the football or stop the Buckeye rushing attack. It should be the same case in the passing game too.

The best thing Rutgers has going is Ryan Day will go vanilla on offense late in the game instead of pouring on the coals like he did against Maryland. Ohio State had to get the rust off last Saturday coming off a bye but now the focus will be on keeping players fresh for next Saturday’s matchup against Penn State.

Coach Day doesn’t care about style points that may impress the College Football Playoff Committee so he will call off the dogs. He will let his backups do their thing in the second half but will shorten the game as much as he can by running the football and using up the clock.

Ohio State wins 62-7.
