Penn State (-6.5) at Maryland

Both teams had the week off to prepare.

The Terps stellar beginning came to a crashing halt two weeks ago against Temple.

Penn State’s wins over Buffalo and Pitt were considered letdowns, but in hindsight both will probably end up being quality wins.

The Nittany Lions own the series. The last three have been blowouts.

Penn State’s defense is allowing just 10 points-per-game.  That’s a problem for the Terps who struggled to move the ball consistently against the Owls.

I don’t see Anthony McFarland having much success so it will be on Josh Jackson’s shoulders to keep the Terps in the game late to pull the upset.

I think it will be closer than the last three, but Penn State gets a couple of turnovers in the second half to pull away late.

Nittany Lions 31-20.
