Peter:  Ohio State was led by a high-powered attack output on offense from Justin Fields and J.K. Dobbins in their first two games and will look to continue that string of large point totals against the Hoosiers. For Indiana, now facing the possibility of being without starting QB Michael Penix Jr. (game-time decision), they will have to try to break the Buckeyes’ momentum from a shut-out of Cincinnati.

In years past, Indiana is no push-over, particularly in the first half. In 2015, the Hoosiers led 17-13 just past the midway point in the third quarter. In the 2017 season opener, they also led 21-20 in the third quarter.

The Buckeyes were able to pull out a victory in both games, and while Indiana has played tough in several others, they always seems to let the game slip away, their last win in the series coming in 1988.

History may be written anew each and every Saturday, but in this match-up this year, Chase Young and Jeffrey Okudah will be able to shut down the Indiana offense for most of the game, as Fields and Dobbins are aided by Binjimen Victor, K.J. Hill and the rest of the Buckeye receiving corps.

The first quarter and a half stays tight, but the Buckeyes start to pull ahead late in the second quarter, cruising the rest of the way to a 48-20 win over the Hoosiers.
