ACC Championship Game: #1 Clemson vs. #16 Virginia

Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC

The Tigers (12-0, 8-0 ACC) will come into Charlotte and will easily dispense of the Cavaliers (9-3, 6-2 ACC) and coast into the College Football Playoff once again, being the No. 1 overall seed for the third time in the CFP era.

Clemson 45, Virginia 20

Big 12 Championship Game: #6 Oklahoma vs. #12 Baylor

AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

The Sooners (11-1, 8-1 Big 12) will venture into Arlington with only one defeat and major CFP aspirations. The Bears (10-2, 7-2 Big 12) will be highly motivated and play the Sooners tough, but Oklahoma will prevail, making their case to be in the CFP for the third time.

Oklahoma 41, Baylor 37

Big Ten Championship Game: #5 Ohio State vs. # 20 Minnesota

Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN

The Golden Gophers (9-3, 6-3 Big Ten) will travel to Buckeye-friendly Indianapolis and see their special journey come crashing down against the Buckeyes (11-1, 8-1 Big Ten), who will be determined to return to the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2016.

I mentioned in a previous article I thought Ohio State would face either Nebraska or Northwestern. But after re-evaluation, Minnesota has a solid team that could come out of the highly competitive West.

Either way, the Buckeyes punch their ticket to the CFP.

Ohio State 35, Minnesota 24

Pac 12 Championship Game: #10 Oregon vs. #18 Utah

Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA

The Ducks (10-2, 8-1 Pac 12) will have a chance to prove that the Pac 12 is at least near the level of making the CFP again, but will face a tough Utes (9-3, 6-3 Pac 12) a team that many favor to win the Pac 12.

I also believe Utah could win, thwarting Oregon’s chance at a New Years’ Six bowl and bringing Justin Herbert‘s Pac 12 career to a difficult close.

Utah 27, Oregon 20

SEC Championship Game: #2 Alabama vs. #3 Georgia

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA

The Crimson Tide (11-1, 7-1 SEC) will once again face off against the Bulldogs (11-1, 7-1 SEC). This time almost certainly being a winner-take-all, with the loser being knocked entirely out of the CFP race.

Alabama will once again come out on top, leading to another 1-2 ranking of Clemson-Alabama to kick off the CFP.

Alabama 34, Georgia 31 (OT)

With all Power 5 champions sorted out, who will make the College Football Playoff and who will be left out?
