Alabama vs. Georgia:

Most of the college football world is anxiously waiting on this game.  The outcome could mean nothing or create serious issues for the CFP Committee.

The question is what happens if Alabama loses. If that happens would the Committee still award the Crimson Tide with one of the four spots in the playoff?

I think it is fair to give the them some benefit of the doubt given their history.  The Tide typically delivers in the spotlight.

I also think it is fair to say every game matters. Alabama’s schedule was not overly challenging and giving the SEC two spots again sends the wrong message when there are potentially two or more deserving teams.

That being said, the Crimson Tide is going to win this game and save the Committee from having to make the call. Alabama 34-20.
