Defensive Line

Grade: D+

The defensive line couldn’t control the line of scrimmage on Saturday afternoon. The Terrapins were able to rush for 253 yards on 6 yards a carry. There’s no excuse for letting a team like Maryland control the line. The line has to do a better job of stopping the run.

The line was able to get good pressure on Hill in the passing game, but they did that at the expense of letting him rush for 170 yards.

Sam Hubbard had the highlight of the day for the defensive line with his interception late in the 4th quarter to put the game away.

The line has been good this year, but it wasn’t against Maryland.
