With the college football season over and only four NFL teams having a chance at the Super Bowl title it’s time to look at this year’s draft.

Now that the 150th season of college football is complete, it is time to start preparing for the NFL Draft in April. As we approach NFL Championship weekend with the Titans vs Chiefs and 49ers vs Packers, every team besides those mentioned before are starting to prepare their draft boards.

There will be many surprises when Roger Goodell announces those individuals on that first draft day. However, one thing is certain: The first two selections by the Bengals and Redskins will not alter.

Check it out to see the mock draft 1.0 addition of the 2020 NFL Draft:

1. Bengals – Joe Burrow QB LSU

Joe Burrow will be a generational pick for this Bengals franchise. But, don’t expect Burrow to turn around this organization without a strong focus on strengthening the offensive line.

2. Redskins – Chase Young DE Ohio State

Arguably the best prospect in this draft, Chase Young will team up with former teammate and Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins. Young will prove to be the biggest ROI selection of this entire draft; My early Defensive ROY pick.

3. Lions – Jeff Okudah CB Ohio State

With the trade of CB Quandre Diggs to the Seahawks, Matt Patricia’s defense needs a CB to come in and play opposite of Darius Slay. Slay will be a free agent in 2021 so this pick will result in a succession plan for this secondary if Slay decides to leave the Lions in free agency.

4. Giants- Andrew Thomas OT Georgia

It is time for the Giants to start thinking about the future of this offensive line to provide stability for their young talents, QB Daniel Jones and RB Saquon Barkley. LT Nate Solder will be 32 next season and RT Mike Remmer’s future with the Giants remains unknown due to his contract expiring.

5. Dolphins – Tua Tagovailoa QB Alabama

Despite his injury, the Dolphins need to take the risk of drafting Tagovailoa. The Dolphins can utilize veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick as a mentor for the rookie QB to learn from until he is healthy enough to play.
