What a great week it has been for the Ohio State football team and the entire athletic department. Another Big Ten Championship and huge wins in basketball

What a great week it has been to be an Ohio State Buckeye.  It has been a long time from what I can remember that the athletic department has had so many big things come together at one time.  The best part is, we may only just be getting started.

It all started with chants of O-H-I-O in the Dean Dome as the men’s basketball team took down the 7th ranked Tar Heels of North Carolina with a convincing final score of 74-49.  Speaking of convincing, this same team rocked the then 7-1 Big Ten foe Penn State Nittany Lions 106-74 on Saturday night.

As of this morning Ohio State team has moved up to No. 3 in the country.

The Buckeyes’ women’s basketball team jumped into the action this past Thursday by knocking off the No. 2 ranked Louisville Cardinals 67-60.  What made this so big was the fact Louisville was previously unbeaten and Ohio State was unranked.

The Buckeyes followed that up with a 70-57 defeat of Radford and look forward to this upcoming weekend when they take on the number one Stanford Cardinals on the road.

Your 2019 Big Ten football champion Ohio State Buckeyes capped off this amazing week as they took down the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers in comeback fashion 34-21 to capture their third straight Big Ten title.  On Sunday the Buckeyes were ranked No. 2 in the final CFP rankings and we now know we will face the No. 3 seed and defending National Champion Clemson Tigers in the semifinals in the Fiesta Bowl.

This will be a rematch of the 2016 game which the Tigers took 31-0, but don’t expect the same result as these Buckeyes are humming right now.
