No. 3 Ohio State football has a big game against the No. 13 ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday. Let’s look at the teams’ last three meetings.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have had a lot of success over the Wisconsin Badgers in recent history. Now, they look to continue that success on Saturday when the two play in Columbus.

Before we get to that game though, let’s look at the last three meetings between these two teams – three meetings that resulted in wins for the Buckeyes.

2017 – Ohio State wins in Big Ten Championship Game

Ohio State came into this game as the underdogs with one loss and ranked No. 8 while Wisconsin was No. 4 in the nation and had yet to lose a game.

The Buckeyes got off to a fast start that game as they jumped out to a 21-7 lead in the second quarter. Their lead was set up by an 84-yard touchdown pass from J.T. Barrett to Terry McLaurin, a 57-yard touchdown pass from Barrett to Parris Campbell and a one-yard run by Barrett.

Wisconsin got a field goal before halftime to make it 21-10 and then they two teams traded field goals in the third quarter to make it 24-13 heading into the fourth.

The Badgers then drove 52 yards in 11 plays to trim the score to 24-21 on a one-yard touchdown run by Chris James. The Buckeyes, however, scored a field goal with 5:20 left and then Damon Webb intercepted a pass with 1:09 left to seal the 27-21 win.

The win got Ohio State into the Cotton Bowl where they ultimately defeated USC 24-7.

The next two meetings were also good memories, especially one of them.
