All signs right now are pointing toward four-star quarterback prospect Torrance Gibson ultimately choosing the Ohio State Buckeyes when it is time to make that final decision. This weekend, he was supposed to take in the atmosphere inside Ohio Stadium as Ohio State takes on Virginia Tech in the prime time game on national television.
Well that is not going to happen now, as Gibson will not be in attendance in Columbus this Saturday night. According to 247 Sports, Gibson has pushed back his official visit date with Ohio State, and could end up visiting once he makes his final decision.
Just a few months ago, it seemed as if the Buckeyes were out of the running for the services of the Plantation, Florida signal-caller, however that all changed when he made his visit to Friday Night Lights. After spending some time with Urban Meyer and Braxton Miller, Gibson shot the Buckeyes right to the top of his list once again, after he had recently placed them in about the 8th spot.
He even recently hinted that Ohio State could be his final choice, sort of, when he wore Ohio State cleats for his opening game, which was televised nationally by ESPN.
