The Ohio State Buckeyes will soon receive an official visit from one of the top targets in the 2015 class as five-star running back Damien Harris has announced that he will be on hand when the team takes on the Virginia Tech Hokies in a few weeks.
Harris has been on the radar of the Buckeyes for quite some time now, and Ohio State is near the top of his list as of this point.
Right now, Harris is the top-ranked running back in the entire nation, and the offense that Urban Meyer runs would most certainly fit the running style of the five-star phenom out of the state of Kentucky.
He holds offers from a plethora of schools from around the country, including USC, Alabama, Auburn and just about anyone else prominent that you can think of. Harris has been in close contact with the team since the beginning of his recruitment, and the Buckeyes have done a fantastic job of keeping his interest in the program, something that is no easy task.
So time will tell whether or not Ohio State can ultimately convince Harris to make the commitment to Columbus, but they’re certainly going to make their best effort on Sept. 6.
