Braxton Miller is out for the 2014 college football season for the Ohio State Buckeyes, so any chance of winning a national championship is out the window, right?
Well, of course, we don’t know that. No one knows that until the games are actually played on the field, just like every other year. But because of the Miller news, many experts have ruled out a College Football playoff appearance for the Buckeyes this season.
Not the Associated Press, though.
Monday morning Ralph Russo released his projections for the season, including the College Football Playoff, and he still sees the Buckeyes at least getting a shot at the ultimate prize.
at Sugar Bowl — No. 1 Florida State vs. No. 4 Ohio State
at Rose Bowl — No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 3 Oregon
Alabama vs. Florida State
Very bold by Mr. Russo here. However, he immediately did point out why he chose Ohio State in the final four, noting that Urban Meyer is a pretty damn good football coach.
And yes, I know Braxton Miller is out for the season. In Urban I trust. He’s got a pretty good track record.

At least there is someone that still has hope out there in the media world.
