There was a time a few months ago where everyone thought that the Ohio State Buckeyes were out of the race for five-star quarterback Torrance Gibson. However, after his Friday Night Lights visit recently, not only did he announce that the Buckeyes were back in the race for his services, but that they were right at the very top of the list.
On Sunday afternoon as ESPN presents their broadcasts of High School Football games from throughout the country, Gibson was in action on ESPN with his American Heritage team as they took on Dwyer. And when Gibson hit the field, he showed just how serious he is about potentially choosing the Buckeyes by sporting some Nike Ohio State cleats.

Now if that isn’t a good way to get Ohio State fans excited, then I don’t know what is.
Gibson has been talking a lot about the Buckeyes recently, even noting that he would be excited to work with Braxton Miller when he returns to the team following his most recent injury that will keep him out for 2014.
