It was officially announced on Tuesday that the Ohio State Buckeyes will be without starting quarterback Braxton Miller after he injured his shoulder in practice on Monday. Since the news, many have been wondering whether or not Miller would just head off to the NFL, rather than take a redshirt and return in 2015.
Well good news, Buckeyes fans. Miller will be returning to lead this team in 2015, and that comes from the source himself.
In a release on Tuesday discussing the unfortunate news, Miller pointed out that he will be coming back to Columbus for 2015.
“I love Ohio State and Buckeye Nation, and my goal is to come back from this injury stronger and better than ever,” Miller said in the release. “I am on course to graduate in December and I want to attend graduate school, and then return to lead the Buckeyes next season. In the meantime, I want to give all the support I can to my coaches and teammates as they chase a championship this season.”
This is music to everyone’s ears, and this is especially pleasing because that 2015 roster should be loaded with talent that will once again be heavy favorites to capture a national championship.
