Sunday brought upon one of the more anticipated days of the college football offseason as the preseason AP Poll was released. With less than two weeks to go until the college football season gets underway, the best teams in the country were sorted out, and when it was all said and done, the Ohio State Buckeyes came in at no. 5.

This is right about where the Buckeyes were expected to be, now the question remains whether or not they can remain in the area throughout the season. We will find that out in less than two weeks when they take the field for the opener against Navy in Baltimore.
While the AP Poll isn’t the end all, be all, it will still be highly considered by the College Football Playoff Committee, so staying within the top five is crucial. To do that, the Buckeyes will more than likely have to go undefeated in the regular season for the third year in a row and win the Big Ten Championship.
