There are a lot of people that are projecting great things for the Ohio State Football team this season, however there are only a few that you can actually trust. Well, as any college football fan knows, Phil Steele is one of those people. And according to his recent bowl projections, he has a lot of faith in this year’s Ohio State team.
Steele, one of the most well-known college football experts around, projects the Buckeyes to indeed make the College Football Playoff during its first year in existence. He has them slated for a Rose Bowl match up with the Alabama Crimson Tide, a game that many fans have been clamoring for ever since Urban Meyer came to Columbus after his stint in the SEC.
As for the other Playoff match up in the Sugar Bowl, Steele has the defending national champion Florida State Seminoles going head-to-head with the Oklahoma Sooners.
But before you get too excited, folks, he does not have the Buckeyes getting past the Crimson Tide. His championship game is Florida State vs. Alabama.
But still, this is just another great example of how much is expected from this Ohio State team. And in about two weeks, we’ll begin to see if they’re ready to live up to the hype or not.
