A lot is expected from Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller heading into his senior season, but one thing that all Buckeyes fans would like to see from him in 2014 is to finally capture that coveted Heisman Trophy. Whether or not he can do that remains to be seen, but the folks in Las Vegas certainly think that it’s possible.
In the latest updated betting odds that were released on Tuesday, Miller came in with the third best odds to win the coveted award, given to the best player in college football for a given year, right behind Marcus Mariota and the reigning winner, Jameis Winston of Florida State.
This is the third year in a row that Miller has come into the season as one of the favorites, and should he stay healthy throughout the course of the entire season, he certainly has the chance to be the one to take the trophy away from Winston.
Not to mention, head coach Urban Meyer has already spoken about Miller throwing out of the pocket even more this season, which can only help his chances. Winston was able to run away with the Heisman last season doing most of his work from the pocket.
What do you think? What are Miller’s chances to win the Heisman Trophy? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
