The Ohio State Buckeyes still have a long way to go with their 2015 recruiting class, but they doesn’t mean that they can’t begin taking a look ahead to 2016, and that’s what they’re currently doing.
According to 247 Sports, at the moment, five-star 2016 running back Kareem Walker is visiting Ohio State as he begins the journey of eventually narrowing his choices down.
Kareem Walker, the nation’s No. 1 running back in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings, is currently on campus at Ohio State. The Wayne (NJ) De Paul Catholic standout is ranked as the No. 6 overall prospect in the country and the No. 2 recruit in New Jersey in his class. Walker has 18 offers including one from the Buckeyes. The Crystal Ball reads 83-percent for Alabama and 17-percent for Penn State for the five-star prospect.
With already 18 offers on the table, it’s going to be mighty tough to convince Walker for anyone, but that’s what the recruiting process is all about.
For now, in his case, this year is all about getting himself settled in and not getting too overwhelmed with everything going on around him.
What do you think? Can the Buckeyes land Walker when this is all said and done? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
