In anticipation of his senior season with the Ohio State Buckeyes, there is a lot of praise being thrown the way of Braxton Miller, and ESPN continued that trend recently.
The Worldwide Leader recently released their list of the top 100 players in college football, and to no one’s surprise, Miller was right there near the top of the list.
Braxton came in tied for the no. 5 spot with another Big Ten player, Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon.
Here’s what they had to say about the dynamic Ohio State quarterback.
“The two-time Big Ten offensive player of the year and a top Heisman contender, Miller looks set this fall to rewrite the OSU record books. He has directed six game-winning TD drives in the fourth quarter or overtime. A championship would cement his legacy.”
Indeed, a championship would cement his legacy, and that’s exactly what he and his Buckeyes teammates are aiming for in the 2014 campaign.
They came so close to having the opportunity last season, so the chip is even bigger on their shoulder to go out and grab it this season.
Should Miller play like one of the top five players in the country, then a title run is definitely in the cards.
