For a while, it was thought that four-star quarterback prospect Torrance Gibson had all but ruled out the Ohio State Buckeyes as a potential destination spot to play his college football. Well after his visit with head coach Urban Meyer and staff at the Friday Night Lights event, the tune has changed drastically as Gibson has officially named the Buckeyes his new leader.
Ohio State University is my current leader! My list isn’t changing anymore.

The visit to Columbus was really an eye-opener for Gibson, and he stated that shortly after he was done with the festivities.
“It was more (than I thought it would be),” Gibson said of his first trip to Columbus. “The campus is beautiful. It was big, too. Columbus is a great place with an awesome stadium, and they’re building more (seats). It’s going to be crazy this year. I can’t wait to come back here.”
Then, he even foreshadowed that he would be naming the Buckeyes his new leader.
“A lot of Ohio State fans will be happy after this (next) list I put out,” Gibson said with a smile. “I don’t want to release anything, but Ohio State fans are going to be really happy.”
Oh don’t worry, Torrance. We are very happy.
