Big Ten Championship Game 2014 ticket sale date announced

We don’t want to make any bold predictions for this upcoming season, but there is a very good chance that the Ohio State Buckeyes will be right back in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis come December 6 to play for the Big Ten title. Last season, that was where the national championship dream ended it heartbreak at the hands of Michigan State, so a shot at redemption would be oh so sweet.

In anticipation of that, per the Big Ten Network, the date has been announced when tickets will go on sale for the biggest conference game of the year, and here is all of the info you need.

Tickets for the 2014 Big Ten Football Championship Game will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, August 2 at noon ET. The fourth annual Big Ten Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX with kickoff set for 8:17 p.m. ET.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
