Not everything is about Braxton Miller when it comes to Ohio State football in 2014. There are other units on the field that have to come together collectively to ultimately succeed and try to bring this team a national championship.

Well Tom Dienhart took a look at the top Big Ten units under the most pressure this upcoming season, and one of the units that made his list was the Ohio State linebacker corps.

Of course when you lose a player the caliber of Ryan Shazier, the pressure is going to be on. Here’s what Dienhart had to say about this unit making his list.

4. Ohio State linebackers. By season’s end, this could be the Big Ten’s top linebacking unit, even with Ryan Shazier gone early. Joshua Perry is back. Can Curtis Grant hold off stud true freshman Raekwon McMillan in the middle? Speedy ex-prep quarterback Darron Lee is on the strong side. Depth is augmented by Camren Williams and Trey Johnson.

This is not the first time that we’ve heard criticism thrust upon a unit that is generally applauded when it comes to Ohio State football.

But nonetheless, the pressure is indeed on, and there’s little doubt that this group can prove people wrong this season.
