The Ohio State Buckeyes are still heavily in the running for one of the best quarterbacks left in the 2015 class, four-star product Torrance Gibson. And according to cleveland.com, the Buckeyes will have a chance to woo him even more soon as he may be attending Friday Night Lights camp, making a trip to Columbus.
“Yeah, it looks like I’m visiting,” Gibson told cleveland.com via text message. “I will know for sure if I am going (later Monday afternoon).”
Ohio State was once considered one of the favorites to land the services of one of the best quarterbacks the nation has to offer, but when he revealed his last list, Ohio State was near the bottom, breaking a lot of fans’ hearts in the process.
But, the recruiting pitches are never done until the recruit actually signs on that dotted line come next February, and Urban Meyer and company will get their chance to see of they can get back into the good graces of probably the best dual-threat quarterback in the nation.
Time will tell whether or not they can do that, but at least we know now that they will more than likely get the opportunity to make things all well and good, and get their second QB commit for the class of 2015.
