Last season, the Ohio State Buckeyes looked as if they were poised to meet the Florida State Seminoles in the BCS Championship Game. All they had to do, after completing their second consecutive undefeated regular season, was defeat the Michigan State Spartans in Indianapolis for the Big Ten title.
Well as it turned out, they would come up just short in that game, failing to defeat the eventual Rose Bowl champs.
This upcoming season, though, the Buckeyes will get their chance at redemption during the Big Ten regular season on Nov. 8, and after Thursday, we now know that rematch will take place in primetime on national television on ABC.

While it was disappointing that the Buckeyes couldn’t get the job done on that night last December, it was one of the overall best games of the season, and putting it on in primetime this season was a tremendous move by the powers that be.
It won’t be just the Ohio State and Michigan State fan bases that have their eyes locked on this game, but the eyes of the entire nation will be fixated on it as well.
