Ohio State Football: Ohio Stadium ranked no. 2 in nation by Athlon Sports

This year, Ohio Stadium, or as it’s more affectionately known as, “The Horseshoe,” will be a little bigger as the renovations that are currently being done throughout the summer will make the football experience that much better for Ohio State football fans.

As if the Horseshoe experience couldn’t get any better, right?

Everyone reading this right now can definitely agree that watching a football game take place from inside Ohio Stadium is one of the greatest experiences of one’s life, and apparently a panel of experts over at Athlon Sports agrees.

Recently, Athlon Sports put a panel together of some of the most well-known college football writers from around the country, and they ranked Ohio Stadium as the no. 2 stadium in the nation.

Here’s what they had to say:

Ohio Stadium, affectionately known as The Horseshoe, was the only stadium to be on every single ballot. The Buckeyes’ home turf was a clear No. 2 and was the only building even close to LSU. It only got one first-place vote from the panel but was no lower than seventh on any ballot. -

It’s nice to see that the panel of experts agreed with what we’re certain every Ohio State fan could attest to: Ohio Stadium is one of the best atmospheres in all of sports.
