Ohio State Football Recruiting: Buckeyes move into Top 15 of 247 Sports rankings

The Ohio State Buckeyes are beginning to build one of the better recruiting classes of anyone for the 2015 season, and this past week it got a huge boost from two five-star studs.

After many had begun to panic that the class was moving along too slowly, those worries were all bu laid to rest as Ohio State received the two commitments, literally within minutes of one another, from defensive end Jashon Cornell and linebacker Justin Hilliard.

The concern from the fan base stemmed from looking at the recruiting rankings about two months ago and seeing that the Buckeyes were in the back of the pack, however that is not the case any longer.

After the huge commitments this past week, the Buckeyes have now vaulted their way into the Top 15 of the 247 Sports rankings, moving their way up to no. 13.

The Buckeyes now have 12 total commitments in the 2015 class, and again, that is sure to grow as the summer goes along. There are still a lot of targets out there to grab, the most important being five-star running back Damien Harris, who is said to be heavily interested in coming to Columbus.

It certainly has been an interesting week on the recruiting front, and the jump in the rankings are just a reflection of that.
