Well, did anything of note happen on Wednesday, Buckeyes fans?
Of course, we’re joking. Wednesday was undoubtedly the biggest single day for the team and the 2015 recruiting class as in the morning, the Buckeyes received a commitment from five-star linebacker Justin Hilliard. Then, moments later, they received a pledge from his buddy, and fellow five-star recruit, defensive end Jashon Cornell.
Yeah, the Buckeyes received two of the top defensive players left in the class, solidifying the fact that this class is headed for big things, despite the concern that lingered after things got off to a slow start.
Because of this day, the Buckeyes shot their way up the recruiting rankings, with the team making the biggest jump in the ESPN Recruiting Nation poll. In that one, they vaulted their way to the sixth spot, all the way from 23.

Again, just a few months ago, there was concern that this class might not amount to much, but everyone was told to be patient because a day like Wednesday was bound to happen sooner or later.
Now, all that’s left to do is watch and see what sort of dominoes fall Ohio State’s way after these two commitments.
