Just a few weeks ago, there was widespread panic that the Ohio State Buckeyes’ 2015 recruiting class was going to end up being a complete failure. Heading out of May and into the month of June, things were moving rather slowly and that’s when the panic began.
But, just as we said on here a few times, the key to everything was just being patient, and the patience has paid off thus far in the month of June. The Buckeyes are up to 10 commits in the 2015 class, and are expected to end up with as many as 20 by the time next February rolls around.
Because of this, head coach Urban Meyer and Ohio State are now in the top 25 of the 247 Sports recruiting rankings.
The Buckeyes have moved into the Top 25 of the 247Sports recruiting rankings with commits in the last week from Top247 linebacker Nick Conner, Top 247 defensive end Dre’Mont Jones, cornerback Denzel Ward, and flipping offensive tackle Kevin Feder from Miami.
It definitely has been a huge month for the Buckeyes, and things may only get better from here.
Recently the news broke that Meyer could land his first five-star of this class in outside linebacker Justin Hilliard, which would really put things over the top and move them even closer to the top 10.
