On Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes got themselves another commit. No, it wasn’t for the 2015 recruiting class, rather it was for the class of 2016 as one of the top running backs in that group, George Hill, made his commitment to Ohio State official, while on an unofficial visit.

Although the Buckeyes are still heavily focused on the slow-moving 2015 class, Hill is a officially the first member of the 2016 group, and again, Ohio State probably couldn’t have asked for a better member.
As of right now, according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Hill is a four-star player that ranks fifth in the nation at his position. The 6-2, 180-pound Hubbard, Ohio native is one of the most explosive players at his position in the entire country.
Here’s a brief look at his profile from the experts at 247:
Hill is the fastest player on a talented Hubbard team that also includes 4-star 2015 running back Larry Scott. Hill has done it all for Hubbard playing running back, receiver, safety, cornerback and a little linebacker.
In 13 games, Hill rushed for just under 1,300 yards during his sophomore season. He averaged almost 13 yards per carry and had 15 touchdowns rushing. Hill had 17 touchdowns overall in helping lead Hubbard to a 12-1 record.
Once again, couldn’t have asked for a better first member of the 2016 class.
