Ohio State Football: Luke Fickell Dominates Dodgeball Game at Champions Dinner (Video)

A few weeks ago Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer held the annual Champions Dinner, an even that he puts on every year to reward all of the players for their hard work; although they weren’t the only ones that had a blast.

Well, not as much of a blast as defensive coordinator Luke Fickell had when it came time for the dodgeball.

Basically, this entire day is about fun and bonding and barbecuing; that is until Fickell gets the ball in his hands and you’re the target.

Watch in the video below, right near the 52-second mark, as Fickell shows off his mad dodgeball skills for everyone at the Champions Dinner.

It’s nice to see that Fickell hasn’t lost any of that competitive fire that made him successful player and has also helped him turn in a rather successful coaching career thus far as well.

Watching this video and already knowing some of the holes on the defensive side of the ball for the Buckeyes this season, I actually wouldn’t mind finding a way to sneak Fickell onto the field in pads and a helmet.
