As is the case with a lot of other college football coaches around the country, Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer enjoys playing the sport of golf in the offseason as a hobby.
That’s the key word there, though, “hobby.” Coach Meyer isn’t a professional golfer by any stretch of the imagination, and he does have some flaws in his game.
Luckily for him, given his celebrity status, he’s able to get some guidance on fixing issues with his swing from some experts, like he recently had done courtesy of CBS’ Peter Kostis.
Courtesy of PGATour.com, check out the video below of Coach Meyer looking to fix up his golf game just a few months before he leads the Buckeyes onto the field to begin the 2014 season.
No one ever argued that golf was the easiest game in the world to grasp, and this video shows that even a huge perfectionist such as Coach Meyer has his struggles.
Still, it had to be a pretty neat experience for Meyer to be able to get some great tips like that from someone who knows better than a lot of other people what they’re doing on the links.
He can put those new skills to good use after January next year when the Buckeyes take their national championship.
