The Ohio State Buckeyes are still said to be firmly in the mix for five-star running back Damien Harris out of Berea, KY. To land the amazing back, however, head coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes are going to have to hold off some of the best competition in the country with Alabama, Michigan, Auburn and Florida among those that are interested in adding him to their respective backfields.
At this point in the recruiting process, it’s always nice to look for signs as to where a recruit may be leaning toward, and if a recent meal Harris had was any indication, then things could be looking very good for the folks in Columbus.

Look, Damien, I can’t tell you if you’re husband material yet, and quite frankly it’s a little too early in your life to be worrying about that.
But as far as whether or not he’s Buckeye material–well, is there even a question about that?
Harris took a visit to Columbus back on April 12, and will certainly be back on campus before he makes his final decision.
According to 247 Sports, Harris is the no. 1 composite running back in the 2015 rankings and the 23rd overall player in the country. He has yet to set a timetable for his decision, but it’s at least good to see that he has a constant reminder of Columbus when he sits down to have his meals.
