Buckeyes Considering Sporting Alternate Uniforms For Breast Cancer Awareness

According to Rivals’ Andrew Holleran, the Ohio State Buckeyes are considering wearing their alternate uniforms for the second time this season this Saturday against Penn State. But this time, the team would also wear pink gloves and socks in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. According to Land Grant Holy Land’s Andrew Lind, the Buckeyes’ arrangement with Nike will allow for them to wear the uniforms for additional games, on top of the originally scheduled Wisconsin and School Up North games.

Holleran reports that the coaching staff might wear pink polos to support the cause. As suggested by Land Grant Holy Land, funds from a potential auction of the gear could go towards the acclaimed Stefanie Speilman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

Hopefully we see our Buckeyes sporting some pink on Saturday. #PinkOutPennState!
