It took Carlos Hyde to get going against Iowa, but the Senior running back came through in a big way once again for Ohio State, propelling the Buckeyes to the victory this past Saturday 34-24. Hyde ran for 149 yards and 2 TD, following up on his 168/3TD performance against Northwestern two weeks earlier. With the game tied, Hyde busted off this run at the beginning of the fourth quarter to give the Buckeyes a 31-24 lead:
The touchdown really changed the entire game. The defense came out with much high intensity, especially up front. The Buckeyes held Iowa scoreless and Hyde ran for 82 yards in the fourth quarter. Hyde’s run made the #SCTop10 and gained national attention as he continues to improve his already impressive game from last season.
