Remembering (And Trying to Forget) The Birthday Boy, Charles Woodson, in 1997

Tonight we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge (and celebrate, I suppose) the birthday of one of the best products from the school up north in recent memory, Charles Woodson. Woodson turns 37 today, and is a teammate of former Buckeye and current NFL up-and-comer Terrelle Pryor on the Oakland Raiders. Woodson scored a touchdown last night, helping Pryor get the Raiders their second win of the season.

As hard as we try, it’s almost impossible to forget what Woodson did to the Buckeyes in a game in 1997, where, among other things, he performed this incredible punt return.

Whether he played for the school up north, the Buckeyes or any other school in the nation, a talent this great should be celebrated. Happy birthday, Charles.
