Big Night Planned for Ohio State vs. Wisconsin; LeBron James, Fireworks, Alternate Uniforms

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Ohio State’s matchup with Wisconsin is the biggest game on a rather soft schedule for the Buckeyes this season. The winner will likely win the leaders division and move on to the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis. Ohio State will play host with a rare night game at The Shoe (although these are becoming increasingly more common, one other night game this season vs. Penn State) and the school is turning into a celebration of sorts. If the matchup was not enough to get fans going, the Buckeyes are expecting the return of star QB Braxton Miller (and DE Adolphus Washington) and will be sporting these alternate uniforms. That’s not all, Ohio State will also be bringing out the fireworks-literally. Expect a lot of pyrotechnics in pre-game and almost certainly with the band’s halftime performance. Ohio State will also welcome a special guest- LeBron James. LeBron James will be on the sidelines during the game and will also deliver a pre-game speech to the team. Urban Meyer tweeted he wanted the Shoe to be an inferno (the video was taken down later) and I am sure that the fans will come through for their coach. Recruits will also be in the house; I am sure the Buckeyes wanted to show them a good time.
