Pryor Throws Touchdown In Second Quarter, Oakland Raiders Trail Denver Broncos 27-7 At Half

Terrelle Pryor and his Oakland Raiders currently trail the Denver Broncos 27-7 at halftime, but the Raiders looked much better in the second quarter.

12- and 13-yard touchdown passes from Peyton Manning and a 47-yard field goal from Matt Prater accounted for the Broncos’ 17 points in the second quarter, while Pryor found Denarius Moore for a 73-yard passing score to give the Raiders their lone touchdown. Moore managed to lose the Broncos safety after catching the pass from Pryor for about 20 yards, and managed to outrun the Denver defenders to take it to the endzone.

Pryor made some good throws, but didn’t get much help from his receivers outside of the catch from Moore. However, the offense was able to secure a few first downs on Pryor’s legs, as the Raiders had some success with the option. But Oakland is not ready to hang in a shootout with the offensive juggernaut Broncos, and they trail 27-7.
