Former Buckeye Malcolm Jenkins Has Interception For Saints, Game In Progress

Former Buckeye star cornerback Malcolm Jenkins had his first interception of the year for his team, the New Orleans Saints. Right now, the game is in the 4th quarter, with the Saints currently trailing 14-13 after Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Mason Foster’s incredible 85 yard interception return for a touchdown. Jenkins’s interception came off of a pass from Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman, who has been struggling recently. Malcolm was one of the best DBs in Ohio State history, During Jenkins’ senior season, he was a consensus All-American and winner of the Thorpe Award as college football’s best DB, becoming the first Buckeye since Antoine Winfield to capture that honor. That success gave him the swagger and colorfulness he has today. He is already having a fruitful career with the New Orleans Saints, with this year being his 5th in the Saints. Last year was arguably his best year so far in the NFL, with 94 tackles, and an interception. We will keep you updated on his progress throughout the season.
