Ohio State at California: 3rd Quarter Review

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

No Braxton, No Problem, it seems is the case so far for the Buckeyes against Cal. Kenny Guiton is filling Braxton Miller’s shoes nicely, as it looks like the Buckeyes should move to 3-0 on the young season.

Guiton, in the third quarter, led three fantastic, methodical touchdown drives, of 9 plays, 15 plays, and 8 plays, respectively. Two ended in rushing touchdowns for Jordan Hall, coming from 1 and 2 yards. The other was a Kenny Guiton six yard touchdown pass to Corey Brown, capping off that 15 play drive spanning 6 minutes and 13 seconds. The Buckeyes offense, minus their star QB, looks promising for the weeks to come.

It will all be mop-up work in the final quarter for the Buckeyes. The Ohio State faithful in Berkeley will enjoy watching their boys get a big road win.
