With the Ohio State Buckeyes’ Bradley Roby figuring to see his first full game of action this week after returning from his suspension in Week 2, we thought we’d take a look at a scouting report of Roby that Rant Sports published earlier this week.
Here’s a look at what RS’s Patrick Karraker had to say about the All-American:
Though Roby is not the most physical corner in the world, he has the ability to shut receivers down in coverage. On top of that, he is a legitimate playmaker, and his great effort and athletic ability are easy to see whenever he takes the field. Because of the way he plays, Roby would probably be best-utilized in a zone-based coverage scheme, although he has definitely held his own when he has played man-to-man, particularly when going against Penn State‘s Allen Robinson last season.
Hopefully Roby can make some plays and get back in his groove as a starter this week. The full article can be read here: http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2013/09/11/2014-nfl-draft-scouting-report-ohio-state-cb-bradley-roby/
