After compiling drive after masterful drive, OSU heads into the fourth quarter with a dominating 52-27 lead, thanks largely to Kenny Guiton. After an unbelievable start to the game, Guiton had just an average second quarter before reigniting the fireworks in the third. It’s quite evident that Guiton has the playbook known like the back of his hand, the Buckeyes’ offense has skipped a beat with the loss of Heisman candidate QB Braxton Miller.
Guiton led the Buckeyes opening drive of the second half 75 yards en route to a touchdown pass to a Jordan Hall TD plunge. The next drive, Kenny G carefully guided the Buckeyes for fifteen plays and eighty yards before lobbing a perfect pass to Philly Brown in the back right corner of the end zone. As if the offense needed any more confidence and cushioning, Guiton led the team down the field for a quick striking, two-minute drive resulting in another Jordan Hall touchdown.
With just one quarter to go, Guiton and the offense look to keep chugging along and close the book on this week three matchup.
