Gilman School’s Kai Lockley (Baltimore, MD) took to Twitter tonight to announce that he has an offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes. Eleven Warriors reports that Locksley reportedly had the offer for a few weeks, but didn’t find out until he asked the coaching staff.

Locksley also has offers from Florida State, Maryland (where his father is the offensive coordinator), Michigan State, Tennessee and Wisconsin. Locksley has excelled as a a quarterback, wide receiver and safety, and appears to be most wanted as a quarterback or wide receiver. At 6’4, 185, he projects to have a solid quarterback’s frame as he’ll continue to grow between now and the time he graduates, though he could also be quality tall target as a wide receiver.
“Real excited and humbled by a big time offer from a big time program,” Locksley told Scarlet and Game’s Michael Natelli.
Top prospect Eric Glover-Williams is the only recruit currently (verbally) committed to the Buckeyes for 2015, but it’s still very early.
