It’s that time again Ohio State fans. Your beloved football team is set to take the field at The Shoe at 12:00 noon EST today. The Buckeyes will be taking on the Buffalo Bulls (not to be confused with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills) in what should be one of the bigger blowouts of opening weekend.
While Urban Meyer’s squad takes the field short-handed, missing the likes of Carlos Hyde, Bradley Roby, Rod Smith, Tommy Schutt, and others, there’s still the simple logic that Braxton Miller (or Kenny Guiton, for that matter) will still be able to pick apart a defense that gave up 363.7 points per game and lost to opponents like Kent State, Ohio and UConn. Many analysts have pegged the Buckeyes to shut out the Bulls and score as many as 60 points, which frankly, wouldn’t be incredibly surprising. For a full preview of the game, click here.
