Update: Miller Returns To Action

2:58: Braxton Miller has returned to action for the Buckeyes as they start a drive deep in their own territory.

2:29: Braxton Miller has left again, once again under his own power, after scrambling for a 10-yard rush. Kenny Guiton is back in, and it appears he’ll see at least a few snaps.

2:27: Braxton Miller left the field with 9:21 left in the third quarter with an apparent cramp. Miller has been attempting to scramble in the pocket before ultimately going down without being touched. He left under his own power and Kenny Guiton came in for one play before Miller returned to the action. We’ll see if Miller can continue to be effective or if cramps will come back.

Cramps are always a concern in the first week of the season, but today’s heat has done both teams no favors. It’s roughly 90 degrees at The Shoe right now, and it’s estimated that it feels 10-15 degrees hotter on the field. We already saw Ryan Shazier leave with cramps, and he’s now back on the sidelines riding the bike as he tries to get loose.
