Former Buckeye great and current broadcaster Jim Lachey joined Twitter this past Tuesday. You can follow him @JimLachey64.
Lachey was a First-Team All-American as a left guard in 1984, and helped get the 13th-ranked Buckeyes to the Rose Bowl, which they lost to #18 USC 20-17. Lachey prides himself on having beaten Michigan three times.
Lachey’s play was good enough to get him drafted twelfth overall by the San Diego Chargers in 1985. He was named to his first Pro Bowl in his third season with the Chargers in 1987, and after a brief stint with the Los Angeles Raiders, joined the Redskins in 1989, where he went on to be named to three straight AP First-Team All-Pros from 1989-1991 and also won Super Bowl XXVI in 1991.
Lachey currently broadcasts Ohio State football games on 97.1 The Fan.
